July Wrap-Up

Another month gone by, and I have to say, I'm very happy with this month's progress. It's made up for my last months (last few actually) progress. And I managed to do a impromptu read-a-thon, participate in three discussion groups, one of which was a read-a-long, and read some pretty good books this month. All around, it was a great month for reading. To bad I bought more books than I managed to knock of my TBR list. Doh! Small steps right?

Books Read
I read 10 books this month, brining my total number of books read this month is 51.
It's hard to say which book was my favourite, I think it's petty much a three-way-tie between The Year of the Flood, The Outlander and Secret Daughter. All three were fantastic books, I don't think I could pick one.

My least favourite books read this month is tied between two; Nights Below Station Street and the Passage.

1) Nights Below Station Street - David Adams Richards - 6/10
2) The Outlander - Gil Adamson - 9.5/10
3) The Year of the Flood - Margaret Atwood - 9.5/10
4) No Great Mischief - Alistair MacLeod - 8/10
5) A Jest of God - Margaret Laurence - 6.75/10
6) Secret Daughter: A Novel - Shilpi Somaya Gowda - 9/10
7) The Bookshop - Penelope Fitzgerald - 7/10
9) Paco's Story - Larry Heinemann - 7.5/10
9) City of Thieves - David Benioff - 8.5/10
10) The Passage - Jason Cronin - 6/10
