June Wrap Up!

June started off as a good month for me, but it started to go downhill near the end. With personal/family issues interfering, the never ending quest to find a job, Internet issues and a ten day long headache, it was hard to get all the reading done I had planned. Which resulted me in failing my second challenge of the year! Darn it! I was close to finishing the Victorian Challenge, but it just didn't happen. Sigh! Can't win them all!

This month I read Nine (9) books. So it wasn't a bad month, unfortunately a lot of the books I read during the month, weren't my favourites. So, without further ado, here's my list of June Reads!

1) The Yellow Wallpaper and Other Stories - Charlotte Perkins Gilman - 8/10
2) The Restaurant at the End of the Universe - Douglas Adams - 8/10
3) Life, Universe and Everything - Douglas Adams - 7.5/10
4) The Good Soldier: A Tale of Passion - Ford Madox Ford - 7.5/10
5) The Moonstone - Wilkie Collins - 8.5/10
6) Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte - 4/10
7) Breaking Dawn - Stephanie Meyer - 6.5/10
8) So Long, and Thanks for the Fish - Douglas Adams - 7.75/10
9) Marked (House of Night Book #1) PC Cast - 3.5/10

My favourite book of the month was The Moonstone, my least favourite was Marked and Wuthering Heights. A book that shocked me in how much I liked it was Breaking Dawn. Although it wasn't my favourite, I enjoyed it more than I thought.

Oh and one more thing, I've been MIA in blogging and Twitter for a while, but I'm still here. Just having a lot of annoying internet problems, where the net dies off on me, usually when I'm doing somethign important, or in need of the net. So I may be a little slow with responses. Also because of the net, by reader was overfilled with posts (over 700) I had to delete a lot of them. So I wasn't able to comment on a lot of posts, some of which looked pretty good! Sorry folks! I hope the internet is fixed soon!

Oh and to all the Canadians out there HAPPY CANADA DAY! EH?
